REVIVAL CHURCH SENIOR TEAM LEAD JOHN BURTON IS A PROPHETIC MESSENGER WITH A HUNGER FOR REFORMATION, REVIVAL AND REVOLUTION IN THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH

There is an urgency quickly rising in the atmospheres of the earth- a desperate cry for fire, boldness and extreme passion to return to the church. God is in love with His bride, and there is a fervent beckoning to zealous intimacy and vigorous pursuit of Jesus like no time in church history. We must respond.

As we find ourselves in the place of night and day prayer (literally- both passively as we commune with God, and intentionally on a daily basis in hours of personal and corporate intercession) we will discover a prophetic revelation driven life. This revelation will result in earth-shaking reformation, revival and revolution in these end-times.

I have written five books (Revelation Driven Prayer, Six Enemies of Fulfilled Destiny, Covens in the Church, The Terror of Hell and 20 Elements of Revival), and my wife Amy has written one (The Significant Life). Both of us feel a calling to continue writing and pouring our heart into others through books, teaching, video and other media.

Prior to planting Revival Church, my wife Amy and I planted Revolution House of Prayer in Manitou Springs, Colorado in 2001. The church is the first piece of the puzzle in what will ultimately be a city-wide revival.

In 1991 I received an assignment from God to see an entire city set free. Over the years, God added to that vision and has since revealed that his dream is to see ManitouSprings become an entire city that ministers to God 24 hours a day. That launched us into a fresh season as a house of prayer, a house of worship and a house of dreams for the Pike's Peak region and way, way beyond!

We are currently traveling and ministering the fire of God in the cities of the Earth. Our hear tis to help facilitate a prayer-fueled atmosphere so as to gain further revelation and to catch a more vivid glimpse of our Bridegroom- King Jesus. This will, most certainly, result in a more powerful and all encompassing experience of legitimate revival in the cities of the earth.

My ministry style could be described as wildlypassionate, engaging, humorous, Word empowered and dependant on the flow and power of the Holy Spirit. I love to have a lot of fun as I do my best to transfer God's amazing love and purposes.

The prevailing theme of the ministry God has given me revolves around the topic of 'being with God'. Where God is, things happen. In his presence, where he is, is the fullness of joy. As we discover the wonderful mystery of walking in the Spirit, praying always and walking in faith, life becomes incredible!

It truly is an experience in the invisible realm. As we tangibly experience God and as we pray we are interacting 'in the Spirit'. As we walk by faith and understand how amazing a Holy Spirit driven life is, being a believer quickly becomes the greatest adventure on earth!

It becomes easy to smile a lot, dance before the Lord, rejoice and walk in the strength we need to accomplish the impossible plans of God.

From this position, the desire for revival, revolution and reformation in our livesand in the church becomes a normal yet zealous and consuming drive in our lives.
